At Arqam Academy, we are always striving to give our students the best opportunities for success. One of these exciting opportunities is the University of South Florida (USF) Dual Enrollment program. This program allows eligible high school students to take real college-level courses while still in high school, earning both high school and college credit at the same time. It’s a wonderful way for motivated students to get a head start on higher education, build confidence, and save valuable time and money, In Shaa Lah.
Through USF Dual Enrollment, our students gain first-hand experience with university-level academics before even graduating from Arqam Academy. This early exposure helps them develop essential skills like critical thinking, time management, and academic discipline. It also makes the transition to college much smoother, as students are already familiar with the expectations of professors and the pace of university coursework.
Another major advantage is the financial benefit. Since tuition and textbooks are usually covered, families can save significantly on future college expenses. By earning credits early, students may also shorten the time it takes to complete their degree, giving them more flexibility to pursue graduate studies, enter the workforce earlier, or explore specialized career paths. At the same time, students can try courses in areas like math, science, humanities, or social sciences, helping them discover their true passions and strengths.
Requirements for Eligibility
To qualify for Dual Enrollment, students must:
Applications close 3 weeks before the start of each semester, so it’s important to plan ahead and complete all steps early.
USF Dual Enrollment is a meaningful way for our students to challenge themselves, explore new opportunities, and prepare for the future with confidence, In Shaa Lah.
